Hacia un Esquema Óptimo de Asignaciones Familiares. Un Análisis del Caso Argentino

Abstract

En este trabajo se estudia literatura referida a la protección social de los niños y adolescentes para luego analizar el sistema actual de asignaciones por hijo en la Argentina. Los resultados obtenidos muestran contundentes avances en materia de cobertura, fuertes impactos en la reducción de la pobreza e indigencia así como mejoras en la distribución del ingreso. Sin embargo, es posible detectar algunas oportunidades de mejoras que, sin grandes esfuerzos fiscales, permitirían homogeneizar los distintos subsistemas, ampliar aún más la cobertura y acentuar la progresividad del sistema.
