Transdisziplinäre Experimentierräume als Forschungsstrategien in der Mobilitätswende

Abstract

Transdisziplinäre Forschungsformate, allen voran Reallabore, die gezielt weitere gesellschaftliche Akteursgruppen aus Politik, Verwaltung, Wirtschaft und Zivilgesellschaft einbeziehen, gewinnen stetig an Bedeutung. Ihr entscheidendes Potenzial liegt in der ko-produktiven Generierung von Ziel- und Transformationswissen durch die lösungsorientierte Zusammenarbeit heterogener Akteure. Transdisziplinäre Experimentierräume sind eine spezifische Form von Reallaboren, die Orte hervorbringen, an denen Alternativen erlebt und erprobt werden können. Sie produzieren empirische Anstöße für Irritationen tradierter Handlungsroutinen, schaffen neue Möglichkeits- und Erfahrungsräume und machen Konfliktarenen analysierbar. Sie bieten dabei vielfältige Chancen für einen bi-direktionalen Wissenstransfer zwischen Wissenschaft und Praxis. Kommunen bilden die Orte der Umsetzung von Experimentierräumen im Mobilitätsbereich. Die Betrachtung zentraler Rahmenbedingungen in Kommunen (z. B. rechtliche Handlungsspielräume und Ressourcen), erlaubt ein tieferes Verständnis für Herausforderungen und Potenziale der transdisziplinären Zusammenarbeit. Experimentierräume schaffen hierbei nicht nur empirische Zugänge zu relevanten Forschungsthemen, sondern geben zugleich vielfältige Anstöße für eine kritische Reflexion der Rolle von Wissenschaft bei der Bewältigung der anstehenden Transformationsherausforderungen.
