Multilokalität, raumbezogene Einstellungen und lokales Handeln

Abstract

Im soziologischen Forschungsprojekt "Multilokalität, raumbezogene Einstellungen und lokales Handeln" wurde untersucht, unter welchen Bedingungen multilokale Akteure kognitiv-emotionale Identifikationen mit ihren Wohnorten entwickeln und wie diese lokale Handlungen, etwa lokalen Konsum und politisches Engagement, beeinflussen. Ausgehend von soziologischen und sozialpsychologischen Einstellungs- und Handlungstheorien wurden auf der Grundlage einer Online-Befragung multilokale und unilokale Akteure in einer multivariaten Vergleichsgruppenanalyse betrachtet. Demnach entwickeln multilokalisierte Akteure auf der Basis sozialer Interaktionen (Sozialisationshypothese), der Bewertung der Wohnorte (Kalkulationhypothese) und über kognitive Angleichungsprozesse (Adaptionshypothese) (multiple) lokale Identifikationen. Es wurden direkte, indirekte und rahmende Effekte der raumbezogenen Einstellungen auf ortsbezogene Handlungen gefunden. Insgesamt weisen die Ergebnisse auf aktive Strategien der De- und Relokalisierung hin.
