Abstract

Zentral gelegene Stadtteile bieten in der Regel besonders günstige Rahmenbedingungen zur Realisierung multilokaler Lebensformen. Im Beitrag wird am Beispiel der HafenCity Hamburg beschrieben, welchen Stellenwert der lokale Kontext des Wohnorts für Haushalte mit multilokaler Ausrichtung hat. Basierend auf einer Serie qualitativer Interviews mit multilokal lebenden Haushalten wird gezeigt, welche Ortsbindungen diese aufbauen. Abschließend wird die Frage diskutiert, inwieweit eine starke Präsenz multilokaler Lebensentwürfe eine Hypothek für die soziale Entwicklung von Stadtteilen sein kann.
