Abstract

In Deutschland und in der Schweiz werden neben querschnittsmäßig angelegten Bevölkerungsbefragungen auch (Haushalts-)Befragungen im Längsschnitt durchgeführt. Diese ermöglichen für einige Altersgruppen und spezifische Haushaltskonstellationen Aussagen zu multilokalen Arrangements. Ergänzend wurden einzelne Studien zu bestimmten Typen multilokaler Lebenspraxis oder mit bestimmten räumlichen Zuschnitten durchgeführt. Alle Studien zusammen liefern eher selektive Erkenntnisse und erlauben deshalb, abgesehen von einer schweizerischen Studie, keine validen Aussagen über die Verbreitung multilokaler Arrangements insgesamt.
