Abstract

"Jahrhundertaufgaben" erfordern langfristige strategische Ansätze. Photovoltaikfreiflächenanlagen (PVA) oder auch Windkraftanlagen können für ehemalige gewerbliche oder militärische Flächen eine Alternative sein, aber entsprechende Ansätze sind nicht ausreichend, und die finanziellen Erwartungen der Kommunen im Hinblick auf etwaige Gewerbesteuereinnahmen sind häufig überzogen. Gerade in dünn besiedelten Gebieten kann das Ungleichgewicht zwischen Erzeugung aus Erneuerbaren Energien und deren Verbrauch vor Ort noch verschärft werden. Der Beitrag zeigt anhand von Beispielen Möglichkeiten auf, bspw. die Sektorenkopplung auszubauen und regionale Stoffkreisläufe zu etablieren, auch um Netzausbaukosten zu verringern.
