Abstract

Im Zusammenhang mit der Intensivierung des europäischen Integrationsprozesses, der damit verbundenen Zunahme grenzüberschreitender Beziehungen sowie infolge demografischer und ökonomischer Disparitäten zwischen benachbarten Grenzregionen hat die grenzüberschreitende berufliche Aus- und Fortbildung in den letzten Jahren einen starken Bedeutungsgewinn erlebt. Der Beitrag rekapituliert bisherige und aktuelle Formen der grenzüberschreitenden Zusammenarbeit auf dem Gebiet der Berufsbildung in der Großregion. Dabei stehen die in jüngster Zeit geschlossenen Rahmenabkommen zur beruflichen Bildung im Fokus der Betrachtung. Ferner sucht der Beitrag eine Antwort auf die Frage, ob man die Großregion bereits als einen grenzüberschreitenden Berufsbildungsraum bezeichnen kann.
