Abstract

Centralno mjesto u sagledavanju odnosa između fiskalne politike i financijske stabilnosti pripada upravljanju javnim dugom zbog njegova izraženog utjecaja na sistemske rizike, kao i na razinu amortizera na razini sustava koji se mogu koristiti za ublažavanje negativnih šokova. Cilj ovog rada je pridonijeti razumijevanju važnosti odgovornog upravljanja javnim dugom za očuvanje financijske stabilnosti kroz pojašnjenje koncepta održivosti javnog duga i opis kanala putem kojih javni dug može na nju utjecati. Uz to, prikazani su i recentni regulatorni izazovi te promjene kojima se zemlje nastoji potaknuti na odgovornije vođenje fiskalne politike te osigurati okvir za primjerenije ocjenjivanje i adresiranje rizika povezanih s izloženošću financijskih institucija prema državi.
