Abstract

In this study, the relationships between the two new facets in the definition of organizational commitment (OC) is attempted by prediction of Facet F, behavioral organizational commitment (BOC), from Facet R (resources): perceived organizational power (POP) and perceived employment alternatives (PEA). While in the previous study, the measure BOC has been based on the original EVL model (1970), in this study, the measure uses the later elaborated model, which includes, in addition to Exit, Voice and Loyalty, the added categories of Neglect and Fence-sitting or Silence — EVLFN (see Chapter 2)…
