Abstract

This chapter presents the experience of the implementation of the supply chain management (SCM) scorecard at a Greek small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) using the four perspectives: financial, customer, internal business process, and learning and growth, which are translated into corresponding metrics and measures that evaluate supply chain performance. The approach fosters a simple performance measurement (PM) and enhances decision making by linking financial and non-financial measures. On the other hand, it reveals that when managers need to improve performance on so many different business operations, trade-offs cannot be easily decided.
