Abstract

The digitalization of various sectors of the Russian economy, based on the application of formal modeling languages, is uneven. The development and implementation of applied software in the automotive industry, within the operations of automotive enterprises, pose a pressing issue. This research explores the practical application of formal modeling languages as the foundation for developing specialized systems in the automotive sector. The challenge of accommodating the diversity of initial data in designing the “Avtopark” computer system is addressed as the target domain becomes more focused; the domain’s boundaries define the substantive content within it. The formal model being created is thoroughly elaborated upon at every stage of modeling when formal modeling languages are utilized. Another significant argument in favor of choosing formal languages is the correctness of the overall model and its components. For the model implementation of the “Avtopark” system, the authors selected a graph model capable of describing logistics tasks and a network model, where events and tasks constitute the main elements. The implementation of this approach is presented in the form of applied software for the “Avtopark” system, making it possible to implement the majority of existing scenarios for receiving and processing trip orders in real time and allowing automotive enterprises to enhance operational efficiency and substantially reduce costs.
