Abstract

This research focuses on determining the contribution of digital inclusiveness to improving quality of life. The research methodology involves modeling the dependency of life quality components on digital inclusiveness in society using regression analysis. The research relies on UNCTAD and Numbeo statistics for the top 20 countries with the highest standard of living in the world in 2023. The authors’ final conclusion is that the dissemination of advanced technologies under conditions of digital inclusiveness leads to an improvement in the quality of life but exacerbates the problem of income inequality. The theoretical significance of the results is expressed in the comprehensive examination of the consequences of the digital economy on the quality of life in all its components. It is established that while overall quality of life increases with the growth of digital inclusiveness, it also leads to an increase in the cost of living and a decrease in housing affordability for households. The research shows how digital inclusiveness influences the use of advanced technologies by households and, consequently, impacts the quality of the population’s life. The practical significance of this research is justified by the perspective it reveals regarding the growth of digital inclusiveness using Russia as an example, highlighting the significant potential for improving quality of life through disseminating advanced technologies. The forecasted indicators can serve as benchmarks for conducting government monitoring of the realization of the potential for improving the quality of life through the growth of digital inclusiveness in Russia during the Decade of Science and Technology (until 2031).
