Abstract

The research identifies the opportunities and advantages of managing digital inclusiveness in entrepreneurship. The research contributes to overcoming the digital divide in the digital economy. Through critical analysis, the research determines the applicability of the existing approach to managing social inclusiveness in the particular context of the digital economy and the potential for reducing the digital divide using this approach. As a result, the author identified serious shortcomings in the existing approach to managing social inclusiveness, which renders it inapplicable to combating the digital divide. The author developed a new approach to ensuring digital inclusiveness to address this issue. The distinguishing feature of the author’s approach is that it relies not on the state, as in the existing approach, but on private entrepreneurship as the fight against the digital divide is carried out in the realm of the entrepreneurial economy. The wide-ranging opportunities and advantages of entrepreneurial management of digital inclusiveness to overcome the digital divide in the digital economy are substantiated by the high flexibility and effectiveness of this type of management. The theoretical significance of the author’s conclusions lies in refining the specificity of combating the digital divide (i.e., achieving social inclusiveness in the context of the digital economy). The practical significance of the developed new approach lies in its ability to involve private entrepreneurship and thereby achieve more pronounced results in ensuring digital inclusiveness.
