Abstract

This chapter reviews some of the literature on knowledge management, innovation, entrepreneurship and resilience, and shows how communities of practitioners can be key players in this regard. Based on insights from 25 organizations, it highlights emerging trends in the field of innovation communities, such as the growth of cross-sectoral and cross-organizational communities.
