Abstract

The objective of this chapter is to identify several key aspects related to the incidence of IPNs in East Asia and the Pacific, and their relationship to trade policies connected with discriminatory or preferential trade agreements resulting from the growing number of regional trade agreements (RTAs) signed by East Asian and Pacific countries. The chapter concludes with several policy recommendations.
