Abstract

Both effective decision making and problem solving are essential attributes of each of the four functions of management. Successful decision making and problem solving similarly underpin and support the overall success and at times survival of an organization and its ability to fully address the concerns and expectations of employees, customers, and other organizational stakeholders.
