Abstract

This is a briefcase that highlights the innovative capabilities of Marfrig to enter into the plant-based patties with the Revolution Burger. Marfrig, a Brazilian family-owned business, is the second largest beef producer in the world with 33 production units in the Americas that reach close to 100 countries. The Revolution Burger is the output of a research collaboration between Marfrig and Archer Daniel Midland to compete in restaurants and supermarkets against similar offerings from startups such as Impossible and Beyond Meat.
