Abstract

Zusammenfassung Identity and Access Management (IAM) ist ein breites Gebiet innerhalb der Informationssicherheit, das sowohl die technischen als auch die geschäftlichen Prozessaspekte der Zugriffskontrolle umfasst, indem es zur richtigen Zeit den richtigen Zugang für die richtige Person bereitstellt. In vielerlei Hinsicht ist die Identität – und ein vernünftig geführtes Identitätsmanagementprogramm – der Schlüssel zum Erfolg mit einem Zero Trust-Programm. Zero Trust bietet im Kern einen identitätszentrierten Ansatz zur Sicherheit, und daher ist das Verstehen und Verwalten von Identitäten ein unglaublich wichtiger Faktor in jedem Zero Trust-Programm. Und dennoch sollten und können sich Organisationen nicht an einen unzumutbaren Standard halten oder Perfektion von ihren Identitätsteams und -systemen verlangen, bevor sie ihre Zero Trust-Reise beginnen.
