Abstract

The chapter examines the development process and current state of the express delivery industry in China. It summarizes the development status of the industry in countries other than China, compares the development paths of the industry in and outside of China, and draws lessons from it. The authors analyze the current state of the Chinese express delivery market and enterprises from the perspective of market structure and scale, service capabilities, service quality, industrial synergy level, and competitive environment, while major express delivery enterprises, their development levels, and the construction of express delivery networks are discussed.
