Abstract

Infrastructure continues to hold the imagination of governments, financial institutions, the private sector, and the general public for a variety of reasons and in different contexts. The infrastructure that countries and cities build today will bring economic and climate benefits in the years to come (Bhattacharya et al. in Infrastructure for development: meeting the challenge, Infrastructure for development: Meeting the challenge, policy paper, centre for climate change economics and policy.
