Abstract

Since the pandemic, a rise in mental health issues has affected the world’s economy, public health emergencies, and organisational breakdown, among others. In particular, mental health issues carried severe economic repercussions. The loss on productivity, the increment in organisational issues, the impact on customers and society in general, far exceeded health care expenses. Further, all aspects of life, including school or work performance, relationships with peers, family and friends, and participation in society, were also significantly impacted by mental health issues. Indeed, mental health is an integral part of our wellbeing. In order to care for our wellbeing, our effort of persevering and continuing to work towards our objectives is utmost important, even though this may seem incredibly slow or uncertain. Our perseverance towards progress is pertinent for overcoming our challenges so that we attain an optimal level of wellbeing. These challenges cannot be overcome by a conventional state public health approach alone. It requires a holistic model that incorporates several stakeholders. This chapter discuss how relevant stakeholders can persevere and help to improve people’s wellbeing post COVID-19 from four different paradigms: (1) the individual, (2) the organisation, (3) the government, and (4) the society.
