Abstract

The projects produced and implemented by women show themselves in fields such as science, industry, and technology, and women’s participation in working life and the rate of the female labor force is increasing. On the other hand, women entrepreneurs face many problems both while establishing their businesses and during the activities of their businesses. This situation prevents women from showing new activities as an entrepreneur or keeping their existing businesses alive or making their jobs more difficult. For women’s entrepreneurship to be carried out effectively and for women entrepreneurs to have stronger businesses, it is necessary to pave the way for women to take part in working life as an entrepreneur and remove the obstacles in this regard. To fully reveal the knowledge about women’s entrepreneurship, it would be beneficial to address the relevant issue on an international scale. This study uses the literature review method to focus on the current situation in Türkiye regarding women’s entrepreneurship. In this direction, the development status of women’s entrepreneurship in Türkiye, and the problems and solution proposals related to women’s entrepreneurship are discussed. In the study, practical implications and directions for further research were provided.
