Abstract

The outbreak of major epidemics poses significant threats and impacts on public safety and economic development. The emergence of the novel coronavirus highlighted insufficient emergency response and control capabilities in most countries. Emergency supply is an essential component of emergency management, and the demand for emergency supplies has skyrocketed in the wake of the epidemic outbreak. Given the prolonged duration of the epidemic and the diverse range of emergency supplies required, it is of paramount importance to reasonably and fairly distribute limited emergency supplies to various emergency areas. This distribution plays a crucial role in curbing the epidemic and ensuring the safety of people's lives. Therefore, this study aims at analyzing the trend of epidemic transmission, focusing on the context of COVID-19, and exploring a dynamic optimization model for the multi-period and multi-category distribution of emergency supplies.
