Abstract

This chapter explores the dynamic landscape of halal trade opportunities in Indonesia within the context of a post-COVID-19 scenario. Analyzing the impact of the pandemic on the global and Indonesian Halal markets, it delves into challenges faced by the industry, such as changing consumer behavior. The chapter highlights governmental initiatives and evaluates their efficacy while identifying areas for improvement. Focused on post-pandemic prospects, it outlines emerging trends and challenges of businesses in the halal value chain. Emphasizing the role of collaboration, the chapter concludes with predictions for the future and recommendations for businesses and policymakers to foster a resilient and thriving Halal trade ecosystem in Indonesia.
