Abstract

This chapter explores the three fundamental activity types exhibited by all unities during energy exchange and interactions. Reaction (RE) occurs in response to incoming energy. Self-Change (SC) comprises both inevitable adaptation and deliberate self-transformation. Transformation of Others (TO) involves purposeful attempts to change external unities. The chapter establishes these activities are nested, with reaction serving as a foundation for self-change, and both preceding transformation of others. Through examples involving humans, plants, and animals, the text illustrates how these activities manifest across different types of unities and examines their underlying mechanisms, including natural, fundamental, basic, and emerging laws. Special attention is given to human consciousness and theorising capabilities, distinguishing human activities from those of other living beings. The chapter also explores the ethical implications of transformation activities, particularly regarding consent and social engineering. By analysing the interplay between material and immaterial energies in these activities, the chapter provides a framework for understanding how different unities interact, adapt, and influence their environment and each other, while acknowledging the complex and often stochastic nature of these processes.
