Abstract

This research explores the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and value co-creation (VCC) in e-businesses, with a focus on the moderating effects of productive and destructive entrepreneurship. The study aims to deepen the understanding of how CSR initiatives influence value co-creation and provide insights for designing effective CSR strategies in emerging markets. A total of 316 Iranian e-businesses were examined to investigate the moderating effect of entrepreneurship on the CSR-VCC relationship. The study utilized a structural equation modeling (SEM) method implemented using Smart-PLS to test hypotheses. Understanding these moderating effects can empower businesses to align their CSR strategies with their entrepreneurial orientation, maximize the potential for value co-creation, and drive sustainable outcomes. This study contributes to the existing literature on CSR, entrepreneurship, and value co-creation, particularly in the context of emerging markets.
