Abstract

This research aims at identifying the impact of job satisfaction on organizational commitment in companies in Vietnam due to the fact that the subject of organizational commitment is one of the most important issues of many companies’ development. Despite the essential importance of job satisfaction on organizational commitment, many enterprises still do not pay sufficient attention to this issue. A qualitative research was carried out by designing specific research questions then developing a conceptual model. A quantitative research was employed to test the conceptual model using online survey via Google Forms which was sent to over various occupations at companies in Vietnam. Overall, there were 173 respondents of which substantial proportion is female (64.16%). Using SPSS software to conduct statistical tests, the results of the study have shown that job satisfaction, salary, leadership, relationship, and working environment are key factors to organizational commitment of employees. All these factors have shown a very significant impact on the level of organizational commitment. Thus, the management of any organization should consider these factors and give serious attention to them in order to improve the organizational commitment.
