Abstract

The global travel, tourism and hospitality sector is facing the effect of pandemic COVID-19 outbreak. Health and the safe of travelers’ issue has become the critical focus and crucial in hospitality recovery plan. The sudden COVID-19 outbreak has led to accelerated adoption of technology for both travelers and hospitality service providers. This chapter aims to explore type of contactless technology used in hospitality industry and proposed a research cluster for future research agenda. Among the technology discuss in this chapter are Virtual Reality, Chatbots, Robotic, contactless payment, voice search, mobile check-in, recognition technology and many more.
