Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel liefert direkte Beweise dafür, dass der Konsum eine wichtige Triebkraft für die Modernisierung der industriellen Dynamik im städtischen China ist. Wir untersuchen, wie sich der Wert und die Schwankungen des Konsums auf das TPF-Wachstum und neue Patente in der verarbeitenden Industrie auswirken und wie dieser Mechanismus den Inlandsverbrauch des Privatsektors beeinflusst. Die Ergebnisse deuten darauf hin, dass der Verbrauchswert und die Verbrauchsschwankungen in chinesischen Städten mit dem TFP-Wachstum und der Zunahme von Patenten verbunden sind. Dieser Effekt wirkt sich auf die Landwirtschaft und das verarbeitende Gewerbe aus. Darüber hinaus untersuchen wir die Auswirkungen der Profitrate und der Exporte auf die industrielle Modernisierung durch Verbrauchswert und -schwankungen. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die Profitrate mit dem Verbrauchsmechanismus verbunden ist und dass Exporte nicht zur industriellen Aufwertung auf dem heimischen Markt beitragen. Weiterhin beeinflusst der Anteil des Privatsektors den Verbrauchsmechanismus, der vom Wachstum des Verbrauchs neuer Produkte im Privatsektor profitiert.
