Abstract

The following is part of the epistemology of Buen Vivir-Sumak Kawsay, found in fieldwork developed in the last 12 years in indigenous communities in Ecuador/Colombia and which shows the globalization of respect for nature. It is part of the cosmogony and cultural heritage, but above all, it is a political/territorial and economic practice that gives an account of articulating our discourses and practices to safeguard Mother Nature Pachamamma. In times of crisis of capitalism, and globalization of cultures, it is fundamental to globalize the unity in front of the intercultural dialogue (Walsh, C. (2007). Bogotá: Siglo del Hombre.) that allows to recognize the importance, today, of the knowledge of indigenous communities along the planet count on epistemologies and ontologies of mother nature care. Besides epistemologies, they are practices of economic, socio-political and territorial cut that give an account of the urgency to change our practices to safeguard life at the planetary level.
