Abstract

The green transformation of enterprises is affected by multiple entities, including the government, NGOs, consumers, and upstream and downstream partners. The emergence of enterprises’ green growth model is based on the integrated effects of internal and external factors of enterprises. First, the new trends, such as supply exceeds demand, green consumer preference, and tightening resource constraints, faced by enterprises’ competition require them to adapt to the green development trend. Second, the green development concept and environmental management system proposed new requirements for enterprises to prompt them to implement green transformation. Finally, new technologies such as new generation of information technology, new forms of industry such as consumer Internet platforms and industrial Internet platforms, and new business models such as closed-loop supply chain, provide valuable support for the green transformation of enterprises. The overall goal of the green growth model is coordination between green and growth. Global optimization and overall coordination are important prerequisites for realizing the enterprises’ green growth model. Value chain reconstruction and innovation is the key path to realize enterprises’ green growth model. Value co-creation and sharing is the driving force to ensure the implementation of the green growth model. Environmental regulation provides institutional guarantee for enterprises to implement green growth model.
