Trust Repairing Post-scandal Priority

Abstract

It is expected that exposed corporate frauds negatively affect the fraudulent firms’ public reputation and financial performance. However, what is more important for fraudulent firms is how to regain the trust from public and restore the firm’s internal governance mechanism as well as the operational strategy as it impacts on the firm’s long-term sustainability. This chapter investigates how to do the trust repairing after the scandal, because it is important for fraudulent firms to rebuild the business and ensure the business sustainability in the long term.
