Abstract

In the report delivered at the 19th CPC National Congress, Xi pointed out that socialism with Chinese characteristics has crossed the threshold into a new era, a new historical juncture in China’s development that marks a new beginning in securing a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and embarking on a journey to fully build a modern socialist country. It will be an era that sees China moving closer to the center stage and making more significant contributions to humanity, which can be best embodied by its efforts to safeguard world peace, contribute to global development, and uphold international order.
