First, pertaining to the contextual nature of the literature, all of the literature that discusses leadership, whether it is about Islamic Leadership, Servant Leadership, or general leadership, discusses the idea of leadership free from any specific context. The context here refers to whether the literature is bounded exclusively by social, political, educational, economic, religious, cultural, interfaith, or other aspects. The emphasis and focus of the discussion of Servant Leadership and Islamic Leadership are different. Based on the coding process that could be read in detail in Chap. 2 , this writing found that most of the literature in the categories of Islamic Leadership emphasises the aspect of Islam, politics, and the world’s leadership problems. Even though the literature of Islamic Leadership also concentrates on Islamic understandings of social, economic, and educational aspects, the element of politics is the most common. Furthermore, there is very little Islamic Leadership literature that focuses on the discussion pertaining to leadership processes in organisations based on the understandings of Islam. The situation is different in the literature of Servant Leadership. The coding process reveals that the literature of Servant Leadership put less emphasis on the aspects of politic and world’s leadership problems. This is because the literature of Servant Leadership emphasises more on leadership processes in organisations.
