Abstract

This chapter ties the ancient Aristotelian rhetorical appealsAristotelian rhetorical appeals with modern systems theory, specifically David Kantor’sKantor, David theory of structural dynamicsStructural dynamics. We examine a neuroscientific basis for structural dynamics, and how this might be a game-changing framework for communicators to use. We also touch on neuromaniaNeuromania and the importance of communicators being shrewd and discerning consumers of scientific information.
