Abstract

The Chinese (According to the Notice concerning the Provisions on the Classification Standards of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises [2011] issued by four ministries and commissions, including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the classification of micro, small and medium enterprises [MSMEs] in China mainly depends on the business revenue and number of employees. In 2017, MSMEs accounted for 99% of the total number of Chinese enterprises and created more than 80% of new jobs) government has enacted the Law on Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME). On the basis of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in 2002, the Chinese government released the new version after amendment in 2018.
