Abstract

How to improve the competitiveness of cities with the minimum resources while minimizing their environmental impact and how to transform environmental and social constraints of cities into a new engine for economic growth, i.e., how to improve the sustainable competitiveness of cities, are questions that have been troubling scholars at home and abroad.
