Abstract

With the popularization and wide application of BIM technology at home and abroad in recent years, the concept of BIM 5D has gradually entered into people’s eyes. Based on the 3D model, plusing progress information and cost information, that is to form the 5D building information model. BIM5D platform and VR system are very important visualization mediums n the field of building project construction. Through the analysis and investigation, it is found that the advantage of BIM5D platform lies in the integration of data, and the advantage of VR lies in the immersive experience. But the visual expression of BIM5D is insufficient. VR is mostly used in the expression of final effect and can not display the data and information of building well. Based on the spatial information model of data support, this study proposed that the BIM5D platform and VR system should be integrated into the construction management field. Firstly, it need to develop two software which are BIM5D and Fuzor, define software 5D information transformation based on the P-BIM platform database and develop BIM5D and the VR integrated application platform. Secondly, by means of the VR engine easy docking VR equipment, we integrate human experience into project construction management itself. It will greatly enhance the application ability of BIM5D information model in the optimization selection, virtual Disclosure and construction quality management of construction scheme. Under the background of the digital information era, the integration will visualize the construction process and results in a maximal way. Through the construction of virtual scenes and virtual space roaming, the experiencer will fully perceive the physical space of the project construction site, and the construction manager will excavate the value of the integrated application technology on the construction project management. Furthermore, the integration will inevitably have a huge impact on the field of construction management.
