Abstract

Auszug Ökonomisierung war in der öffentlichen Verwaltung lange Zeit gleichbedeutend mit Privatisierung. Spötestens seit Anfang der 1990er-Jahre zogen zunehmend auch hierzulande marktliche Steuerungselemente in den öffentlichen Sektor ein. Zu beobachten ist ein Bedeutungsgewinn wirtschaftlicher Rationalitöten in ursprönglich außerwirtschaftlichen’ Bereichen (Reichard 2003). Fokussiert wird hierbei eine Ausrichtung des Handelns an ökonomischen Kategorien, Werten und Prinzipien.
