Abstract

Zusammenfassung Mit Hilfe strategischer Projektportfolios können Führungskräfte die Umsetzung der Strategie und der daraus abgeleiteten operativen Ziele systematisch vorantreiben. Eine Kopplung der Balanced Scorecard und Strategy Map mit dem Projektportfolio-Ansatz kann den Wirkungsgrad einzelner Aktivitäten deutlich erhöhen und die Kräfte im Unternehmen gezielt bündeln. Dabei kann ein pragmatischer Prozess die Strategie Implementierung mit Hilfe von Projektportfolio- Management vereinfachen. Grenzen hat das Projektportfolio-Management in Extremsituationen – z. B. in extrem wachsenden Märkten, wo sich das Projektportfolio auf ein Minimum reduzieren muss.
