Abstract

Zusammenfassung Geradezu typisch für die Gegenwart ist das Streben der Wirtschaftstheorie nach intellektuell anspruchsvollen und trotz ihres Umfanges in sich logisch geschlossenen Modellen. Die praktische Wirtschaftspolitik ist von einem solchen Trend zum Perfektionismus zwar nicht frei, begnügt sich aber doch mit einer wesentlich pragmatischeren Vorgangsweise. Der damit verbundene Verzicht auf im vorhinein gegebene logische Geschlossenheit wird durch größere Realitätsbezogenheit mehr als aufgewogen. Dies deshalb, weil Änderungen des Verhaltens, der Spielregeln und des institutionellen Rahmens auf pragmatischem Wege eher berücksichtigt werden können, als dies anhand der gegenwärtig noch nicht kybernetisch formulierten Modelle möglich wäre.
