Potential und Verbreitung des Elektronischen Datenaustausches

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Fähigkeit der Unternehmen, den Elektronischen Datenaustausch (Electronic Data Interchange, kurz: EDI) anzuwenden, sowie die Verbreitung von EDI in der Wirtschaft sind unter anderem von der Ausstattung der Unternehmen mit entsprechender Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologie abhängig. Mit der empirischen Untersuchung, über die in diesem Beitrag berichtet wird, sollten das Potential für EDI sowie die Verbreitung von EDI ermittelt werden. Es wurden Unternehmen aller Wirtschaftszweige mit mehr als 50 Beschäftigten in den alten Bundesländern in Deutschland mittels Fragebogen befragt.1
