Abstract

Zusammenfassung Schon Schumpeter hat im ersten Bande dieses Werkes in seinem kurzen Überblick erwähnt, daß in Deutschland sämtliche Spielarten der bisher in der Literatur aufgestellten Krisentheorien vertreten seien. Das ist richtig. Wir haben nach dem Worte Sombarts, exogene und endogene Theorien, von den exogenen nicht nur Theorien, welche die Bewegung der Edelmetallproduktion (wobei diese als letztes von der Konjunkturbewegung nicht beeinflußtes Datum genommen wird, nämlich abhängig von dem Zufall der Entdeckung reicher Vorkommen einerseits, vom technischen Fortschritt anderseits), sondern auch solche, welche die Schwankungen der Ernte zur Grundlage der Erklärung machen.
