Abstract

Zusammenfassung Eine der Voraussetzungen für erfolgreiches, strategisches Vorgehen ist die Kenntnis der Struktur von Organisationen, der daraus folgenden Erwartungshaltung an die Mitarbeiter und deren Verhaltensweise in ihnen. Während weltweit große Institutionen nach dem gleichen, hierarchischen Grundmuster aufgebaut sind, gibt es wesentliche, größenmäßig und kulturell bedingte Unterschiede in den Denkmustern und Orientierungen innerhalb dieser Grundstruktur. Wir wollen zunächst diskutieren, welche Paradigmen dem traditionellen Verständnis von Organisationen und ihrer Funktion zugrunde liegen und ein Urteil gewinnen, inwieweit sie auf langfristige Fragen anwendbar sind
