Abstract

Zusammenfassung Globalisierung ist heute allgegenwärtig. Tagtäglich nutzen wir Produkte von Unternehmen wie Apple, Google und Nestlé, die bereits vor langer Zeit damit begonnen haben, ihre Produkte und Dienstleistungen global anzubieten. Immer mehr Unternehmen folgen dem Trend der Globalisierung und die Exportquoten vieler Länder steigen seit Jahren. Dabei nehmen jedoch auch die Herausforderungen deutlich zu. Die Pandemie, der Ukrainekrieg und andere globale Ereignisse der letzten Jahre haben die Schwächen und Anfälligkeit der globalen Lieferketten und damit der Globalisierung aufgezeigt. Dennoch bleibt die Globalisierung ein Megatrend. Unternehmen und Führungskräfte müssen sich auf eine Welt einstellen, die zunehmend komplexer und unberechenbarer wird. Global-Leadership wird dabei zu einer besonderen Herausforderung.
