Abstract

After a general classification of the term sustainability, we now want to deal with various concepts that each make different demands on companies regarding sustainability. To this end, we want to use the term sustainability in a somewhat broader sense and not only address the “perfect” strategy, but also methods and concepts that can be helpful on the way there. Entrepreneurial decisions are made according to rational criteria, which are embedded in a strategy for the company. External calls may be included, but for the owners and those responsible, they do not provide sufficient justification. So that decisions on the subject of sustainability can be made according to entrepreneurial principles, the numerous terms must meet a common understanding. This framework is intended to help understand the effects of the strategies on companies better.
