Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das zentrale Instrument zur Steuerung der Klimaziele ist die Bilanzierung der Treibhausgasemissionen bzw. die Berechnung des CO2-Fußabdrucks, kurz: die Treibhausgasbilanz. Diese schafft Transparenz und gibt einen Überblick über das Ausmaß der Klimawirkung Ihres Unternehmens. Sie offenbart effektive Handlungsmöglichkeiten und ist Gegenstand der seit dem Berichtsjahr 2024 gesetzlich geforderten Nachhaltigkeitsberichterstattung. Dieses Kapitel erläutert, wie der CO2-Fußabdruck Ihres Unternehmens uns der globalen Lieferkette in neun einfachen Schritten erstellt werden kann. Dabei werden die Anforderungen der ISO 14064-1, des GHG Protocol und des Europäischen Standards für die Nachhaltigkeitsberichterstattung ESRS E1 Klimawandel, der im Zuge der CSRD verlangt wird, berücksichtigt. Zudem erfahren Sie, worauf es beim Qualitätsmanagement für Treibhausgasbilanzen besonders ankommt, und enthalten praktische Tipps und Checklisten für eine reibungslose Umsetzung.
