Abstract

Zusammenfassung Für Unternehmen ergibt sich durch den Klimawandel eine neue Dimension von Risiken, die Ihre Aufmerksamkeit verdienen. Klimarisiken sind vielfältig und oft noch Neuland. Sie umfassen direkte physische Auswirkungen, beispielsweise extreme Wetterereignisse, aber auch regulatorische und marktbedingte Veränderungen. Vor diesem Hintergrund rücken Klimarisiken und Klimaziele in den Fokus unternehmerischen Handelns, was auch durch neue rechtliche Vorgaben notwendig für eine zukunftsfähige strategische Ausrichtung geworden sind. Dieses Kapitel macht die wichtigsten Klimawandelfolgen und wissenschaftsbasierte Klimaziele für Praktiker greifbar. Zudem wird Klimaneutralität erläutert und für Unternehmen eingeordnet, wobei auch ein wichtiger Gerichtsbeschluss zu deren Kommunikation beleuchtet wird. Dadurch erhalten Sie auch eine solide Basis für die im Zuge der Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) geforderte Risikoanalyse und die Klimaziele für Ihr Unternehmen.
