Abstract

Zusammenfassung Management und Leadership haben eine lange Historie. Bereits gegen Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts wurden Management-Theorien entwickelt und Unternehmen folgten den Theorien. Weltkriege, Zeiten des Wiederaufbaus, Industrie 4.0 und Digitalisierung später, ist die Welt eine andere. Man trennt zwischen Management und Leadership. Die Herausforderungen des 21. Jahrhunderts werden längst nicht mehr durch neue Management-Praktiken bewältigt. Es ist Leadership und damit der Fokus auf Menschen, wodurch Unternehmen Wettbewerbsvorteile generieren. Übertragen auf das Projektmanagement bedeutet es: wir brauchen mehr Project-Leader, die sich die die Führung von Projekten und Projektteams als ihre zentrale Aufgabe ansehen.
