Abstract

Zusammenfassung Ambidextrie bedeutet Beidhändigkeit, die Fähigkeit beide Hände gleichermaßen gut einsetzen zu können. Übertragen auf die Betriebswirtschaft beschreibt das Konzept die Fähigkeit von Organisationen, inkrementelle und radikale Innovation gleichzeitig zu verfolgen. Kap. 2 stellt das Konzept und seine Ausprägungen vor und verknüpft es mit dem Handlungsfeld der Corporate Governance. Es wird beleuchtet, warum Beidhändigkeit zur Schlüsselkompetenz von Aufsichtsgremien wird, wenn es darum geht große Transformationen in Unternehmen erfolgreich zu begleiten. Harvard-Professor Michael Tushman, einer der weltweit führenden Köpfe der Transformations- und Ambidextrie-Forschung, illustriert dies im Interview mit Beispielen aus Forschung und Praxis.
